As im sure you are all aware [well weve only been waiting over a year for it] the new Tron movie comes out in December, and along with it comes the soundtrack which Daft Punk have done [im not expecting it to be as "clubby" as other tracks they have made] which they apparently made with a 100 piece orchestra backing them.

So you've probably heard by now that Pendulum can't make it on Sunday due to travel problems from America (if you haven't heard, please check the event page on FB!!).. but all is not lost..

The night has not been cancelled but merely postponed until 30th April for which your tickets will still be valid & there will still be a party at Dellers on Sunday which will be free entry for all ticket holders.
You can still catch La Luka & Krausey, SK-2 & The Maestro, Perspective etc. banging out the bass-heavy beats on both events so just think of it as 2 parties for the price of one :-)

So i played at an under 18's last night for kids from the local area, most of them went to the same school, and they all LOVE Dubstep & Drum 'n' Bass!
Wicked crowd to play too, biggups to the 2 girls hosting it :)
The Orange Box is a wicked venue holding 350 people, predominantly for live music, mainly indie and rock, the sound system there is pretty cool, was a good warm up for the 6th nov when Breaks, Beats & Bass happens there:

Working at Glastonbury 2009

So myself and the mrs had an awesome time this past weekend, we were privileged to be working as artist liason on the john peel stage this year, met some incredible people, you dont realise how much work goes into glasto until you see behind the scenes, there were so many good bands, TV just doest do it justice, from what ive heard they didnt show any of the dance villages, arcadia, trash city and the many other small stages dotted around.

I got to meet loads of cool bands and people including Doves, We Have Band, Passion Pit, Temper Trap, Damon from Blur, Dan Black, and Lauren Laverne & Cerys Matthews were also at our stage a fair bit doing interviews, Jarvis was an incredible showman, also got to stand to the side of the stage for most acts and to see how a show runs while theyre LIVE on stage, Incredible!

Biggest moment for our stage was when Bruce Springsteen came over and performed with the Gaslight Anthem,i have got pics with most of the above mentioned and will try and post them up later!

Seriously if you have never been, Dont base your decision on what the bbc show you, theres so much more to glasto.

For me the best acts i saw [when i wasnt working] were DJ Yoda, Freindly Fires, Blur, We have Band, Temper Trap, Passion Pit, Doves and Florence and the Machine.
The Dance village was amazing with an awesome lineup, it was a shame my mates Ben & Lex didnt get to play due to paperwork not being sorted in time, but roll on glade is what i say lads!

Ok so its been a little quiet lately, apologies for that....
Ive been on a course using logic so i hope to be able to show you what ive been learning with regard to music sequencing and video editing as this year goes on.....looks like im going to be trying my hand at remixing some indie bands!
Ill be doing a 2 new mixes as well in july, Breaks & Drum 'n' Bass so keep your eyes peeled for that....

Ok ok now i only normally post about shows, news and mixes ive done but i came across something today.
Someone over the past month or so has been on most dance music forums asking about the above tune, and thats its like the most amazing prodigy/tech step/breaks infused track ever that rips the roof off any club!

All the posts are pretty similar to each other with only a small amount of difference each time.
Then about the middle of Sep the same person goes back on all these forums to declare they've found the name of the song and that its mega rare, and that they are desperate to find it, and thats its only around on a white label.

About a week after that, one these rare white labels appears on Ebay and it appears is going to sell for about £500 if not more.
Now im not saying this is the same person who has been posting about it, but if it is, its a genius way of bumping up the price and creating a buzz.

Had the amazing privilege of seeing bjork last tuesday in concert, she had a woman dj opening for her who was bizarre in her taste but mixed it up well [if anyone knows who it was, let me know] Anyway onto the lady herself, amazing show, the best bit was wanderlust mixing into hyperballad and then hyperballad turning into a wonky rave-orbital-a-thon! Apologies for not much updates lately people..... had a nightmare with the show on weds.... had a powercut 1 hour in and so only half a show and no archive :(

Wow what a crazy trip, it took 3 days to get to atlanta due to cancelled flights, first we were redirected to new york and it was impossible to get out of there.......this meant we missed our connection to orlando and so apologies to kostek and the nubreaks crew down there for not being able to play. In the end we had to take a 22 hr greyhound bus ride to get to atlanta....crazy!
Anyway ATL was amazing and big ups to mister murph for a great b-boy and poppers night.......hope to see ya'all again soon......
